2010
Recipient of an Indiana Arts Commission Individual Artist grant 2010-2011-Received funding ($2,000) to support a new landscape photography project documenting suburban landscape. This grant resulted in the production of a new body of work and a portfolio of 20 images for exhibition.

Honorable mention in Photographing America 2008-2009- The Gallery at the University of North Carolina, Wilmington, North Carolina. February 26-March 31, 2010. Carlton F. Wilkinson, Assistant Professor of Art and the gallery director, selected three images for this juried national exhibitions and one for an Honorable Mention.
2007
Recipient of an Indiana Arts Commission Individual Artist grant 2006-2007-Received funding ($1,000) to support an ongoing landscape photography project. The grant helped fund a trip to the southwest United States to take photographs.
2004
Recipient of the Julie Jensen Bryan and Robert Bryan Museum Purchase Award from The Philadelphia Museum of Art- My image was first selected for a juried exhibition from which the curator of photography at the Philadelphia Museum of Art selected one image for purchase for the museums’ permanent photography collection.
