Artist Statement 

My photography explores truth and fiction imbedded in the photographic process. The camera image depicts a representation. To illustrate this concept, I photograph the vernacular landscapes in which I live. And recently, I have creating architectural spaces to photograph in the studio. While each of the portfolios I create is visually unique, the conceptual motivation of image representation and its relationship to the referent underlies all my work.
